February, 2012 Hello there fellow Sertomans,
We are holding our annual Wine and Beer Tasting event
at the Old Chicago's in Aurora on Iliff and Buckley on February 26,
2012 from 1-4. This event not only includes a wine and beer tasting,
but also a silent auction, raffle drawing, entertainment, and a lot
of really great people. Tickets are $20 for an individual and $35
for a couple. This annual fundraiser helps us on putting on our free
sports camps for children who are deaf and hard of hearing. We teach
not only the fundamental skills for this sports, but promote healthy
eating habits, and teach the children communication and
participation skills needed in team games. Last year we were able to
host a camp in basketball, baseball, soccer, Australian rules
football, and gymnastics. We are hoping to expand to at least two
more sports camps this year!
Presidents if you could help us out in forwarding
this information and flyer to your clubs we would really appreciate
it. We are really excited for the event this year, and would love to
get to know our fellow Sertomans at such an excellent event.
